I’m Adam, owner of AJS Build.

I first got into trades in high school by working for a landscape company to earn money for college. What I thought would be a summer job turned into a love for building and all things construction. Almost twenty years later my passion has continued to grow. I built my first house in 2009, and since then I have continued to expand my knowledge and skills, specializing in building, design and custom cabinetry. One of my favorite aspects of the trades is the problem solving involved -- seeing a space or a property and envisioning the potential.

After graduating from Virginia Tech, I traveled extensively focusing on my other passion, photography and backpacking around the world.

I love that I have been able to return to live and work in my hometown of Cooperstown, New York. I am dedicated to this community and to raising my daughter here with my wife, Caitlin.
